Mouth breathing is often the most noticeable and prevalent symptom of Sleep Disordered Breathing, and it can lead to further restriction of the airway.  The dangers of mouth breathing, as opposed to healthy nasal breathing, include the following:

  • Dry mouth and throat

  • Bad breath and poor oral hygiene
